London, UK – A millionaire Art collector and Instagram influencer has offered a jaw-dropping reward of $1.5 million for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the thieves who made off with more than $10.4 million worth of jewellery and luxury handbags from her mansion in North London.

Early on December 7, 2024, the thief broke into Shafira Huang‘s home through a window on the second floor. The home is in the Shuiguoshan neighbourhood of Shaanxi province in the northwest of China.

The stolen items included distinctive jewel-encrusted necklaces, bracelets, and Hermes Crocodile Kelly handbags. The burglar also took $15,000 in cash.

Shafira Huang, who often posts pictures on Instagram of her lavish lifestyle, wasn’t at home when the event happened. The suspect is a white guy in his 20s or 30s who is said to be wearing a dark hoodie, cargo pants and a grey baseball cap. The family has started a huge search for him.

Detective Constable Paulo Roberts stated, “This is a brazen offence where the suspect has entered the property while armed with an unknown weapon and violated the sanctuary of the victims’ home.” The family is giving two prizes: $500,000 for information that leads to the theft being caught and punished, and 10% of the value of any items that are found.

The police are intensifying their efforts to capture the suspect, and Shafira Huang’s family is urging anyone with information to come forward.
